The M/V Carillon is a wonderful addition to any "Custom" Vermont package.

Equipped to carry up to 49 passengers, this 60ft Coast Guard licensed luxury vessel offers a smooth and comfortable cruising experience. The cabin design of the Carillon allows for an "open" experience in warm weather or a warm cozy experience in fall foliage conditions with the windows closed and the heat on.

  • 1.5 hour cruise from Shoreham includes views of Hands Cove where Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys started their attack on Fort Ticonderoga. We will sail past Mount Independence, Fort Ticonderoga, and Mount Defiance. The lively narrative will take the passengers back 233 years and they will experience it as living history. We will share stories of some very colorful characters throughout history whom frequented the same section of the lake that we sail. Characters such as Ethan Allen, Benedict Arnold, Isreal Putnam, Mathew Lyon, Julius Buell, Thomas McDonough, Mike Shaw and others. The wildlife often includes Bald Eagles, Osprey, and Herons. And of course, we will always keep an eye out for Champ, our lake monster.

  • 1.5 hour cruise from Whitehall includes travel through Lock 12 and southern most area of lake. We will board the Carillon at the site of the birthplace of the U.S. Navy. Traveling through Lock 12 is always a big hit and the narrative will explain in detail how the locks work as well as their history since first built in 1823. Then we will sail north on the lake through the narrowest section. In addition to the rich revolutionary war history, this section of the lake offers a lively narrative about water transportation during the steamship era. Again, this section abounds with charachters whose stories we will share with passengers. We will see osprey, herons, and Bald Eagles.

  • 1.5 hour cruise rates are $11/person with minimum rate of $330.

  • 3 hour cruise departing from Shoreham ends at Whitehall Marina in New York.

  • 3 hour cruise departing from Whitehall ends in Shoreham.

  • 3 hour cruises may board and return to same site if desired. Rates are $17/person with a minimum of $550.
